Both firms will be developing Watten House through a subsidiary United Venture Development (Watten) Pte. Ltd., with UOL holding an 80% in the development and SingLand possessing the remaining 20% of the shares.
Watten House sits on the former site of Watten Estate Condominium, which was acquired by the developers through a tender on 28th October 2021. Transacted at the sale price of S$550.8 million, Watten Estate Condo was sold at a 10.2% premium to the S$500 million reserve price. Watten Estate Condo was completed in 1983 and comprised of 104 apartments.
Watten House is nestled in a private residential enclave of landed houses and low-rise apartments, just north of Shelford Road Playground.
The nearest mall of Coronation Shopping Plaza is about 10 minutes from the development.

Watten House is located within 1 km from the famous and popular primary schools of Nanyang Primary School and Raffles Girls’ Primary School (RGPS), which gives parents residing in the development priority admission if balloting is required.
Nanyang Primary School is one of the fifteen Special Assistance Plan (SAP) Primary Schools in Singapore. By virtue of being an SAP primary school, Nanyang Primary School will offer Higher Chinese in its educational curriculum.
