Bukit Timah is a popular and established residential area located in the Core Central Region of Singapore.
The main MRT line that serves residents residing there is the Downtown Line (DTL).
Under the 2019 URA Master Plan, there are plans by the Singapore Government to further develop the area.
There will be more residential developments in the Jalan Jurong Kechil area. There will also be a future Integrated Transport Hub (ITH) in the Beauty World area to provide more public transport choices.
The government will also plans to develop Holland Plain, which spans 34 hectares. Once developed, the site may yield up to 2,500 private units. A wetland park and large community plain are also planned for Holland Plain.
